Rising damp prevention and installed ventilation
Team called to my house last week to address an issue of advanced mould and improve overall ventilation. After a couple of hours, I noticed a significant improvement in the air quality with it feeling warmer and lighter all around the house. The benefits are plenty - not only am I confident that the mould will not return, but I no longer have to worry about keeping windows open on cold days or drying clothes indoors. It was a brilliant investment - one I wish I had made years ago. Ty was fantastic - he responded to my online query promptly and completed a thorough assessment of my home soon after. Vent installation, condensation and mould removal
After years of fighting mould , condensation and musty smell in our hundred year old bungalow , we have finally found a solution!! Ty and his team installed a ventilation system and we could already feel massive difference in the air quality within few hours. Smells like a brand new house I still can't believe it. Remedial on rising damp
Have a rising damp issue in an old house; got a quote for some work off another company - but Ty came for a second opinion. I found him professional, very knowledgable and honest with regard to our issue and solutions. Ultimately - based on a few factors - he recommended no work due to the level of disruption it would entail, cost etc. This is on the back of our house being finished to a relatively high level, and with us planning not to sell anytime soon - his advice was to not rush in to remedial works. I appreciated the honesty and perhaps we may have to revisit the issue in the future - for now, I am very happy with the service provided. Would recommend.

Wood worm treatment
Ty and his team treated word worm in my attic last week, they arrived on time, addressed any questions I had and got to work straight away. Ty is an absolute expert in his field. I employed Ty to work on a damp issue 2 years ago in a small apartment and I have had absolutely no problem with damp and mould issues since. Vent installation and house surveying
We thought we had an issue with damp but after the survey Ty did on the property it turned out it was not damp but humidity. Ty is a gentleman and is an honest worker, The whole team were very knowledgeable about the work they were doing on the property and awnsered all of our questions. We had a ventolation system fitted and noticed the difference by the next day! The smell in the property was fresh, the air now feels cleaner and there is no condensation on the windows. Removing black mould in bedroom and condense the room
I called Ty asking whether they removed black mould, to which Ty very honestly responded, no, we resolve the root cause of why the mould has appeared. He said that there were many companies that would come out to remove the mould too, but it would just grow back unless dealt with at the root cause level. We were having some issues with black mould and condensation in the bedrooms. Having explained that we have a small baby in the house, Ty prioritised our work, moved appointments around and came out the very same day to do an inspection first and explained the reason we were having these issues. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient when going through the possible solutions. The whole job was done in a day. Ty and his team are so polite, very professional and extremely efficient. We have noticed the difference in the air quality in the house and look forward to having our house free from mould. Mould removal, installation of vent and room condensation
Mould has been a constant problem since we bought our home nearly 20 years ago. I tried everything myself to get rid of it but it just kept coming back worse each time. It was constantly reforming and spreading, especially in the kids bedroom, so it was becoming a serious health risk we couldn’t ignore any longer. I phoned a few contractors but none of them gave me any sense of assurance and I was very apprehensive about hiring anyone. That was until I rang Ty and spoke with him. Instead of me asking all the questions and getting answers that were not reassuring, it was Ty asking me the questions and giving me an honest appraisal of what he felt might be the problem, and how to fix it. He called out for a site visit and explained what the root of the mould problem was. Ty was very easy to talk with and gave me confidence he could solve the issue using a ventilation system to take the excess moisture out of house and treat the problem at source. Ty and his team came out to carry out the necessary work and I can honestly say they were a pleasure to deal with. They were very professional and approachable and happy to answer any questions. They fitted air flow ventilation units in a number of areas in the house and attic, causing absolutely minimum disruption while we were at home. The lads arrived when Ty said they would, they had the entire job done in a couple of hours, leaving no mess behind. You wouldn’t even know they’d be in the house doing the job because they were so tidy. Straight away we could a feel a difference in the air quality in the house. I couldn’t have been any more pleased with the quality of their work, their customer service, or the cost involved. I’m just very grateful to Ty and his team for solving our problem because I was beginning to fear it was unsolvable. Mechanical extraction and installing ventilating system
Addressing the damp issues in my home (1950s former council house, lots of humidity causing mould). Ty conducted a thorough inspection, explaining effective treatment options, both short and long term solutions. We went with a mechanical extraction and ventilation system. Communication was seamless, with prompt responses and transparent updates. The team, led by Ty, were punctual, respectful, and worked efficiently. The installation took a day and they cleaned up everything after themselves. (They even closed up a smoke alarm I hadn't been able to close) There was a noticeable improvement within the day. Best compliment I can pay is that we went to Kerry for two weeks a few days later and came back to a fresh smelling house, which was something that would previously not have been the case if we were away for even a day Price was completely in line with other companies I contacted. Installing ventilation, condensation and mould removal
We cannot recommend Ty and the team enough. We had no ventilation in our house which is old and we had issues with condensation and black mould. I had originally thought we had an issue with rising damp and got in touch with Ty about getting damp proofing in the walls but he said it wasn't needed and that a better solution would be to install an electronic ventilation system. The damp proofing would have been a much bigger and more expensive job so this just shows how honest Ty is. We went with the ventilation system recommended by Ty and he and his team installed it in a day and were extremely professional. We couldn't be happier with the results, I noticed improved air quality the minute I walked into the house and the condensation problem is 95% better. Thanks so much to Ty and his team!

We had been struggling with damp, condensation and dust in our 35 year-old bungalow since moving in over a year ago. Ansolutely first class and professional service from start to finish. We had the system installed a few weeks ago and on the first morning following installation, for the first time in years, we awoke on a rainy dark morning to windows that were bone dry. We have had moisture and mould issues for years and spent most mornigs wiping cills and a lot of weekends scrubbing walls and/or repainting areas that were stained. I notice the air is clearer now too and smells fresher and a smell of damp that was noticeable, especially in our daughters room, has vanished. The team worked all day during the installation and left no trace when finished, despite some drilling etc during the day. Very professional. We couldn't recommend this system enough for anybody who's home suffers from bad ventilation in our damp climate.

Replacing new insulation and wood treatment
I researched several woodworm treatment companies in Dublin, and Ty's reviews just stood out for me. The communication was prompt and Ty called over and provided me with a quote. Ty is a very personable guy and checked not only the attic for woodworm, but the floor boards also - two other companies who called out and provided quotes did not do that. He applied two treatments for the woodworm and provided an extra service (at a reasonable cost) in removing the old insulation from the attic. His team were very clean and I highly recommend his services. If I have any issues in the future (with damp in Ireland who knows) I will be contacting Ty as I trust him!

Fitted ventilation system and prevented rising damp
I recently bought a new home which is over 100 years old and unsurprisingly found that I had a rising damp problem. Best thing you can ever do in this situation is call Ty. Apart from being professional and doing a wonderful job, Ty and his team (Paddy and Jay) were an absolute delight to deal with.
